Your Key to Success! The Open Link can help you earn your High School Equivalency (GED | HiSET) and unlock your potential.

Eligibility

Adults +18 years of age in need of a high school diploma equivalent.

About the Program

We offer classes that help you prepare to take the GED® or HiSET®. The classes focus on math, reading, and/or writing, and are taught by a PA certified teacher with the help of tutors/classroom aides. (We will offer online classes in the future.)

Classes

Held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9pm.

Cost 

There are no charges for classes, HiSET textbook or one-on-one tutoring (depending on availability of volunteers).

Contact Heather O’Donnell by email at instructor@theopenlink.org  or by phone at 215-679-4112 to set up an information session. Enrollment is on a rolling basis and by sessions.

Testing

We offer the paper-based testing of HiSET® (GED equivalent) here at The Open Link. Each section costs $25. (5 sections – total of $125). Scholarships are available.
