Each summer, through SHARE Food program, SFMNP provides eligible Montgomery County seniors with 5 vouchers of $5 each to purchase local Pennsylvania produce at authorized farmers’ markets and produce stands. Vouchers may be used from Monday, June 1, to Monday, November 30.
To qualify, seniors must reside in Montgomery County, meet income requirements, and be 60 years of age or older by the end of the 2026 calendar year. No ID is required for application.
Voucher applications are open now through Tuesday, September 15. Seniors may apply by calling (215)-223-2220 x 138 or (610)-984-4074 to request an application form by mail. Printed applications will also be available at The Center, 517 Jefferson Street, East Greenville and at Penn Street, 452 Penn Street, Pennsburg.
Competed applications may then be submitted by mail to 1111 N. Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 or scanned and sent by email to infomhs@sharefoodprogram.org.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Previously, in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, vouchers were distributed throughout the summer at The Open Link, the Valley’s only multi-service agency’s, Penn Street and Center locations. This summer, to streamline applications and distribution and to expand program access for eligible Montgomery County seniors, vouchers will be distributed at SHARE Food Program’s Lansdale Warehouse, located at 1111 N. Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
In addition to warehouse distribution, there will be select pop-up distribution events throughout the county, including a pop-up event at The Center at The Open Link on Tuesday, July 21, from 1:00-3:00 PM at 517 Jefferson Street, East Greenville.
